Behind the Scenes

Playful and funny - always makes everyone laugh. Brings levity to tense situations with jokes and silliness. BUT: secretly might be the smartest one of all of them. Hides her intelligence behind irreverence and humor. Sometimes solves problems that even Lily can't figure out, because she thinks differently - sideways, not straight.

🐾Companions
Loyal friends who join the adventure

Cat (Copycat) - Sparkle the Fun (revealed in Episode 3)'s companion
Looks pleased with herself (as cats do). Blinks slowly like things are no big deal. Very content and self-satisfied. Has a chore routine: letting out the birdies, vocabulary homework, folding blankets.
Behind the Scenes

Robot - Fruit Bat's companion
Helpful and encouraging. Beeps happily when things go well. Proud when gadgets work correctly.
Behind the Scenes

Luck Dragon - The whole team (joins after being rescued)'s companion
Friendly and grateful. Gets nervous around certain dangers. Small and shimmering - iridescent scales that catch the light. Optimistic but not naive.
Behind the Scenes

Baby Fire Dragon - Joins Sparkle (Episode 3)'s companion
Sweet and grateful. Gets cold easily despite being a fire dragon. Loves Sparkle instantly. Growing braver across episodes. "For Fluffy!" (Ep4) - "For Sparkle. Always for Sparkle." (Ep10)
Crayon Monster
Silly, funny, loves to perform. Has known Sparkle for a long time. Plays electric guitar. Tells jokes that aren't funny.
Baby Sea Dragon
Playful, brave in water, shy on land
Spider (small, reformed)
Tiny voice. Curious. A little confused about being small and good now. The scariest thing in the show is now a shoulder-riding pet.
Baby Lion Cub (Copy-Lion)
Playful but mischievous
🗣️NPCs
Important characters in the world
A really good guy
Finding Coo Coo Head is the main quest of Episodes 1-10. Found in Episode 10 with a twist/cliffhanger for the next arc.
Glass Dragon. See-through — invisible in the dark, shimmering when illuminated. Brown hair. Gets excited. Lives near the Window Steps in the Crystal Caverns.
Guards the Invisibility Gem and stepping stone puzzle. In Ep5, gives the team the map and Blue Key Piece — no explanation, just hands them over. In Ep10, sneaks past "no dragons allowed" sign (she's see-through) and scouts inside the Good Lands.
Elderly map store owner. Knowledgeable about the world's dangerous places. Warned the team about Shadow Swamp.
Provided information about Shadow Swamp in Episode 2. Could return as a source of knowledge about locations.
Mermaid. Lives in a clear pool at the center of the Mermaid Garden Maze. Friends with Coo Coo Head. "It's a boy name, but still, her name is Kosh."
Gives the team the Black Key Piece (completing the key). Delivers Night Gem Clue #3 from Coo Coo Head. Friends with Coo Coo Head — knows him personally.
THE BIGGEST DRAGON EVER. Keeper of the Dark Crystal Cave on Night Island. His scales are deep, deep black and shimmer like the night sky. His scales NEVER come off — not day, not night. That's why the Bandit Scavengers can't get them.
Guards the Night Gem. Sparkle solves the "puzzle" by talking to him, not fighting past him. In Ep10, goes to the Good Lands gate to guard dragons with Gus. Too big for the tree house. First companion in ages.
Former goblin, turned into a kid by Coo Coo Head's good bomb. Lightest red color. Name follows pattern: Do Re Do (like Do Re Mi).
Hiding in the Dark Village from Giants. Safe because Giants sleep in darkness. The team hasn't met Do Re Do yet — future episode.
A rooster. Leader of the Bandit Scavengers. Rides a tiny horse he can barely hang onto. Gives orders. Bluster and bravado.
Primary antagonist for Episodes 6-10. Leads the Scavengers in pursuit of the key pieces. On home turf in Ep10.
Performs the night spell on the Dark Island. Connected to symbols found in the Dark Crystal Cave. One symbol connects to Fluffy.
The night spell may keep the darkness that protects Dark Island villages from Giants. Connected to Fluffy through shared symbols. Future arc character.
💕Relationship Threads
Connections between characters
Fluffy is Sparkle's cat. Sparkle was most affected by Fluffy going missing (Ep4). In Ep10, Fluffy goes INTO the Good Lands with Sparkle (not a dragon, can enter). But the dragon companions (Flarity, Lucky, Olivia) cannot. Sparkle's goodbye to Flarity is the emotional test.
Flarity chose Sparkle (Ep3). Growing braver ("For Fluffy!" in Ep4). Ep10: Can't enter Good Lands. Tearful goodbye. "For Sparkle. Always for Sparkle."
Both have moon, triangle on foot, two pink dots. Fluffy = copycat (mindfulness, not magic). Mango = copy-lion (copies powers, actually magical). Connected to Night Witch symbols on Dark Crystal Cave walls.
The team snaps at Jack for forcing positivity during the storm. First genuine conflict. Resolved through honesty, not fighting.
Comic relief crayon monster + biggest dragon ever. Ridiculous together. But standing guard at the Good Lands gate. Roy's first companion in ages. Gus's step-up moment.
Firelight helped the Spider (pulled the scale). The Spider chased them anyway. Good bomb in Ep8 makes Spider small and good. There's a connection — Firelight understood the Spider before anyone else did.
