Where Coo Coo Head is hiding. Reached by placing five gems (reveals the hidden lock) and using the assembled key (opens it). Fun Halloween aesthetic — beautiful, strange, not spooky. Compromised by Bandit Scavengers who have set up camp there. "No dragons allowed" sign at entrance — Coo Coo Head put it up to protect dragons from the Scavengers' scale harvesting.

🏝️

Explored

A cave system in the Rocky Hills. Dark at first, but illuminated by Flarity's fire breath, it reveals stunning glass and crystal formations. Coo Coo Head passed through here long ago, leaving a map and Blue Key Piece with Windowey.

Bright yellow terrain with jagged rock formations crackling with energy. Reached via the Stormy Seas. Deep purple storm clouds overhead. A calm meadow at the center holds the Golden Key Piece.

🏝️
Mermaid Garden Maze
Explored (Episode 8)

A spiral, fractal garden maze with talking plants. Responds to emotional honesty, not logic. Kosh the mermaid lives in a pool at the center. Contains the Tree That Never Grows.

🏝️

On Night Island. Dark crystals that absorb light. Home to Roy, the biggest dragon ever. Keeper of the Night Gem. Ancient symbols on walls connect to Fluffy and the Night Witch.

🔧Gadgets

Built by Fruit Bat & Inventor

🔧
Heat Laser

A small device that looks like a flashlight, but fancier. Emits a tiny, focused beam of warmth. Melts ice, but only exactly where you point it.

Original purpose: Warming up cocoa

First appearance: The Ice Gem

🔧
Shadow Maker

A device that emits a beautiful rainbow mist. Can both CREATE and REMOVE shadows. Point it at a shadow to dissolve it into light. Point it at empty space to create a pool of shadow.

Original purpose: Fruit Bat invented it because she loves sunny days. She was having trouble adjusting to autumn - the gray skies, shorter days, and changing seasons made her sad. She wanted to make it sunny all the time, everywhere.

First appearance: Fruit Bat's Big Invention (Episode 2)

Lesson: Everything can't be sunny all the time. Shadows are important - they're part of the balance. Some things can only be found in the dark.

🔧
Talking Collar

A collar that gives Fluffy the ability to speak. Small, lightweight, and comfortable for a cat. Fruit Bat built it as a birthday present for Sparkle.

Original purpose: Birthday gift for Sparkle (so Fluffy can talk to her)

First appearance: Sparkle the Fun's Birthday Surprise (Episode 3)

👹Enemies & Threats

The dangers lurking in the 100 Islands

👹
The Giants
High Threat

The main monsters the team fights. They're everywhere, against the world. They have the power to transform people into monsters.

Shown as shadows and silhouettes in early episodes. This keeps them mysterious and less scary for young viewers. Full reveals saved for later episodes. Episode 10 is their major return — nine episodes of silence.

Giants have been quiet since Episode 1. No appearances in Episodes 2-9. This is INTENTIONAL — the longer the absence, the bigger the return. When they appear in Episode 10, it should feel like the whole world shifts. The Scavengers, who have been the active threat for 5 episodes, are suddenly small and scared. The REAL threat is back.

🕷️
The Shadow Spider
Threat

A massive creature that lived deep in Shadow Swamp. Spun webs between ancient trees. Made skittering sounds. Even Lucky the Luck Dragon was afraid of it.

🕷️
The Sneaky Goblin
Low (mischievous, not dangerous) Threat

A goblin who stole the party supplies for Sparkle's birthday. Scattered balloons in the Blue Goblin's Cave and curtains/blanket in the Red Goblin's Cave. Left the cake (goblins don't like cake!). Works with Mango, a copy-lion. NEVER seen or heard directly - only the aftermath. Very sneaky. Only goes out in the sun.
